Quilts

I first became interested in making quilts in early 2009.  My husband and I had been given a beautiful handmade quilt from my aunt for our wedding and soon after that I saw an inspiring quilt in a magazine that made me think “I could do that!”  I made my first quilt for a cousin’s wedding in June 2009 out of bedsheets from the thrift store and a few yards of discounted cotton–they loved it!  And I loved every minute of the process.  Since then I’m making it a purpose to create special event quilts for family and friends.
